BCA fresher confused about career path — Pune

I'm a female BCA fresher(2026) in Pune and honestly feeling pretty lost. I have some web development knowledge, SQL basics, projects, and previous experience in a support/functional role, but I still feel underqualified for most technical IT jobs.

I recently got an interview for an ERP Implementation & Support role. It sounds more technical than a BPO/call-centre job, but I'm worried about getting stuck in support again and having limited growth.

At the same time, I can't afford to go back home and spend months preparing for developer/technical roles without earning.

I mainly want a respectable technical career, decent pay and long-term growth. I don't know yet whether development, QA, ERP, support, etc. is the right path.

What would you do in my situation — take a decent IT role now and upskill alongside it, or wait and prepare for a more technical role? Would really appreciate advice from people who've been through something similar.

Looking for Immediate Job Opportunities / Walk-ins in Pune (Fresher with Experience)

Hi everyone,

I'm looking for immediate job opportunities in Pune and would really appreciate any leads on walk-in drives or openings.

I recently completed my BCA (2026 recent passout) and have around a year of experience working in a ERP functional support role where I also got hands-on exposure to web development. During my time there, I worked on 3 websites from scratch and deployed them.

I'm open to all entry-level tech roles.

I'm willing to join immediately and am eager to learn. If your company is hiring or you know of any walk-ins or referrals, please let me know. I'd be really grateful for any help.

Thank you!

I was doing Functional Support and Web Development at the same time. Should I list both on my resume?

Hi everyone,

I'm a recent BCA graduate fresher applying for entry-level software/web development roles and could use some resume advice.

At my previous company, my official responsibilities were split between ERP Functional Support and Web Development, but in reality I was doing both at the same time. I worked there for 10 months while completing my degree.

On the web development side,

I built 3 websites from scratch using antigravity and deployed them and handled hosting/domain setup.

However, a good portion of the work was done using Antigravity, so I don't feel like I have very deep traditional web development experience yet.

I'm confused about how to present this on my resume.

Should I list both Functional Support Executive and Junior Web Developer as separate roles?

Looking for Entry-Level IT / Web Dev / Support Roles in Pune – Fresher with Internship Experience

Hi everyone,

I’m a BCA student who just finished my final year exams, and I’m looking for job opportunities in Pune. I want to move out and become financially independent as soon as possible. I’m actively searching for any entry-level roles in IT, web development, technical support, ERP support, or related fields.

I have about 10 months of internship experience as a Jr. Functional and Web Support Executive, where I worked on:

- ERP implementation and support

- Client and teacher handling and training

- SQL and phpMyAdmin database work

- HTML, CSS, and JavaScript

- Website management

- Coordinating with backend developers for fixes and features

- Managing student data and support operations

I’m also learning full stack development at the same time.

I’ll attach my resume in the comments or post. If anyone knows about openings, referrals, internships, walk-ins, startups hiring freshers, or even freelance opportunities in Pune, I’d really appreciate the help.

Thank you.
