I wish AI slide demos started with the kind of mess I actually have

Most AI slide demos feel kind of unrealistic to me.

They usually start with a clean prompt and a clear topic, but that’s rarely what I’m working with. Most of the time I have a PDF, a few links, scattered notes, some numbers, and only a rough idea of what the deck should say.

And honestly, that’s where I want to know if an AI slide tool is actually useful. Can it figure out what matters and turn that mess into something coherent, or do I still need to clean everything up first?

At that point I might as well just make the deck myself. Has anyone found a slide tool that’s actually good with messy source material?

Anyone here ride with their better half?

Got myself an iScooter iX7 Pro and ended up getting my wife an iX5S so we could ride together. Well, nothing beats cruising around at night with your partner, catching some air and enjoying the ride.

Mine’s a little faster (tops out around 38mph), but I usually just slow it down and ride at her pace. I’ve already put over 3,000 miles on mine and it’s been running great. Nothing better than having someone to ride with.😎

Baseus XC1 came in, first few days have been pretty good

Got these a few days ago and I’ve been liking them so far.

  1. The pressure is not strong, and after wearing them for a while I don’t really notice them much.
  2. Sound is pretty decent for a clip-on open ear style. The highs don’t sound weirdly thin, and the bass has more depth than I expected. If your ears are bigger and the speakers sit farther from your ear canal, the sound might feel a bit weaker though.
  3. Battery life on a single charge has been enough for my normal use.
  4. First time switching devices was kind of annoying. When I tried moving from my iPhone to my Mac, I had to turn off Bluetooth on the phone first before the Mac could pair. After that first setup, it hasn’t really been a problem.

Babies somehow know the exact moment you're furthest away from home

A fresh mom of a 2-month-old here. Nobody ever told me babies have such terrible timing till i find out the hard way!

One time our baby decided she was starving the second we reached the far end of a shopping center parking lot. Another time she completely melted down halfway through a restaurant meal just as our food arrived. After a few chaotic outings, my husband and I realized it wasn't just bad luck. Babies can get overwhelmed by unfamiliar environments, extra stimulation, and disrupted routines, which often means they need extra reassurance when they're out.

So now we're actually putting together what we're calling a "Baby Pit Stop" for outings right now. So far our list includes a feeding plan, milk ready to go, somewhere safe and comfortable for baby to settle, and a backup plan for the inevitable meltdown 😂.

So what would you put on a Baby Pit Stop checklist before heading out? I'd love to hear from yall.
