Traveling for necessary surgery

hello! I will be doing 3 separate trips for medically necessary surgery covered by insurance, but obviously the travel expenses aren’t. Can I claim those somehow in taxes?

I also have a single member LLC filing as an S corp…if that matters. does that change anything? Such as if I try to go drum up business while I’m there before the surgery?

Im a new business owner and clueless about taxes and tax write offs. I’m high income and I know you can only write off above a certain percent of income.

Traveling cross country for surgery

I just got approved for arms and legs with Cigna (YAY!!!) but have to travel from the west coast to Atlanta. Not super convenient for my husband to come with me because we would have to get dog sitters and kid sitters. Has anyone done it by themselves? Or, he may come JUST through the surgery and overnight hospital stay but then I’d be on my own a few days.

I’m doing full debulking of legs as the first surgery, any suggestions for if I’m by myself a few days before flying back? Nervous about that.
