How much more is the playerbase willing to take?

Trying to get in before the flood of other rant posts on the Morph unlock/campaign being paywalled.

Im absolutely fine with them releasing characters first as pay only. Ive even made posts suggesting they do that, before they started doing it. Its smart it gives spenders another gap of exclusivity. But, it feels like to me and im sure others will agree everytime they make a change there is 2 issues.

  1. They go to the extreme with it, or farther than they should. By all means do a "pre-release" early access launch like console games do. Spend an extra $10 on your $60 game then play call of duty a week early. Its the same thing. But, only give them 1 week early, but no more than 2. Pay only on a Monday, ftp release the Friday of the next week if u want to give them that time that way it's that 10 day window.

Dont put a campaign node with it you cant touch unless you spend to get him. Did they not promise at one time they wouldnt pay gate people from playing content? So now they have even gone back on that. This seems like a new low for Scopley.

  1. Communication. They said in the future vision they want to be better at communication and clarity. That hasn't been happening. Clearly and concisely tell us your intentions, dont just wait for the outrage and feel obligated to respond. And half the time when they do its barely anything at all, bs excuses to sweep the issue under a rug....cough gold code exploit.

At this point idk if its that they dont know what they are trying to do, or maybe they are purposely swerving all over the place to get people to spend and not hoard. Why all the sudden force people to build older teams they skipped? While pushing out new teams? They are making the gap between ftp and spenders as wide as the grand canyon.

If im being fair, the general feeling so far this year was bleak to start. Then some things finally started to happen to generate a bit of hope, and optimism. We start getting good content again. Then its been back to more changes, issues, and bugs. The game was starting to look better for like 3 minutes and then dumpster fire again. Even with more content the economy is still cheeks.

In my book RJ completely down played the "decisions not everyone is going to like". They come just as fast and furious as the character releases. I wont be suprised to see posts from alliance captains recruiting because of the campaign being paygated.

I dont understand how rj has a job if as much people have quit, and scopley has lost as much revenue as some have said
