Hey all, another update to MSF Base (msfbase.com).

Connect your MSF account

You can now link your Marvel Strike Force account (msfbase.com/auth/) through MSF's own official account connection — no passwords shared with me, just a normal MSF login. This pulls in your real roster (power, level, gear, stats) so a couple of features below can use your actual account's info. Your roster syncs automatically once a day, or you can hit "Sync Roster Now" any time from the connect page.

Your Power in the Tower Planner

The biggest update was to the Tower Planner floor picker. Once connected, your actual power shows for each character in the picker, plus there's a new 'Your Power' sort option. Your power carries over into the picked slots as well as the generated share images and shareable links — so a plan you share shows the exact power you had when you cleared it.

My Roster

Added My Roster — a personalized version of the stats table showing your own characters' level, gear, power, and combat stats, pulled straight from your connected account instead of the usual max-level benchmark.

Also, if you want to see a character's max possible power at max investment (without ISO-8) — that's what the Stats Table is for, sortable by Power or any other stat. This can be helpful since they seemingly removed the link to the stats page from the official website.

Crash Videos and Browser Versions

Currently the web version of the game is basically unplayable. I am seeing crashes every 5-10 minutes of playing regardless of what browser I am using.

In my videos I am using the newest versions of Chrome and Opera GX.

I've also done the typical troubleshooting of cache clear, restarts and uninstall reinstall.

I went ahead and searched around reddit a little to see if there have been any similar reports and turns out there have been.

I have submitted a ticket to Scopely support, but I feel like making a post always does more than the tickets.

So I guess my question is, is this being looked into?

- Try changing everything from using another device, internet connection, etc.
- Clearing your browser's tabs, history, and cache (this mostly reported by the players that helps the most)

- Sign out and sign back in from the website
- Try accessing the game through other browsers
- Make sure to turn off ad blockers, VPN, and such
- Use incognito as well
- Also, switching to other tabs or apps during the loading screen will make the loading stuck

If the issue persists, it would be best to play the game through the MSF app as it provide the most optimal gaming experience.

College schedule means I do most of my MSF in 2-minute bursts on my phone, usually between classes. Lately Arena is the mode where I make the most mistakes because of the UI flow.

I open the Arena ladder, tap an opponent to check their defense, then back out to adjust my offense. More and more it feels like the opponent list reorders or refreshes while I'm swapping teams. A couple times I've queued into a different target than the one I just scouted because the tiles shifted after I backed out, and I only noticed when the fight loaded.

I'm not trying to complain, I just want a quick, reliable routine so I stop wasting attempts and time.

Questions:

1. Is there any way to stop the Arena list from refreshing or reordering while you are swapping teams?

2. Do you folks always tap the portrait or name to confirm, jot down the team power, or use some other tell to make sure you have the right target?

3. If you're on iPhone, any practical habits or settings that cut down on mis-queues? Zoom, accessibility tweaks, anything that helps?

I know part of this is on me for playing between classes, but if there is a common routine people use to avoid these little UI gotchas, I would love to borrow it.

Just checking I've not missed something - it's nowhere in the team kits, or in the room/global rules for where they are in crucible.

I've done 4 sack attacks into this full 110 G20 Symbie Six team, and they've not gained a single stack of exhausted.

I used to play msf about 2 years ago and I enjoyed it but had to stop due to not having time to play.recently I have some more free time so I’m thinking about starting a new account but I have heard the game has gotten worse over the years is the game really bad or can it still be enjoyable?Also how is the new player experience since I will have to make a new account? Just saw a TikTok talking about this new Genshin type game Scopely is developing and it got me thinking is that why the bugs aren't getting addressed or why the game is so stagnant with things to do?

Not talking about the events, or the event mechanics. I'm talking about the story.

1. The Villain is Boring. The God of Fear is what you come up with when you can't think of a really interesting "big bad". You just go, who's super powerful? A god. Which god, well, um... what's a thing that's bad? Fear. OK, God of Fear. Done, print it out.

2. The Motivations of the Big Bad are Super, Super Boring. OK he's the God of Fear... so.. he's gonna... uh... make everyone super afraid. And take over the world. For reasons. Bang, done, let's go home.

3. The Methods of the Big Bad Are Oh God So Lazy and Boring. Weapons. Just... super weapons nobody knew about are lying around. Some villains are gonna pick them up and get Even More Villain, and some Heroes are gonna pick them up and become Even More Hero. Don't think about it too much, just roll with it.

It was announced on Thursday’s blog that there was a 4th of July frame coming on Friday free claim or today? I have not seen it. Has anyone claimed it yet?

I honestly believe she will be Spider-woman. Just makes sense now.

Why not add the training mat orbs? Atleast make it a whole orb? Again, why remove cores? Then nerf the core orbs? You do that while selling a new Arena team.

Reasons other than greed and slimy scam. Really trying to get some prospective. Do you just get off on screwing players Scopley?

You also removed cores from alot of other sources slowly. Everything is changing into meaningless rewards. When there is so much in game that needs to be updated. Removing one thing to add another is stupid. Just add, and don't remove.

I was looking over my teams to see who hits the hardest and i was a little surprised to see it was original daredevil who is 110 gt 20 max iso and 4◇. Then a couple days later i rolled a 5◇ Moon Girl and pushed her up to 110 gt20 max iso and her damage is almost 3m! Though it still seems like daredevil hits harder than her typically.

Who else has damage at 3m?

Looking for help on what I should focus on. Kinda lost honestly but wanting to jump back in.

I was working in the sinister 6 before I stopped but there shards are locked behind a new game mode now.

I just realized she was added to the game and there has been speculation that that is who Sadie Sink is playing in Brand New Day not Jean Grey. Do you guys think this is strike force trying to familiarize people with the character ahead of Brand New Day?? I think it may possibly be them foreshadowing the movie lol.

They may have returned but the minimum character shards has dropped from 6 to just 2. So its going to cost you more cores to get the character than it did before, even when it was 100 shard unlock.

Played since 2020. Tcp 275k. Alliance leader. Are people having fun with towers? It seems like a roster check. I was 10,000ish to get mephisto, skrull, apocalypse. I liked the old tower. It seems like I am now supposed to spend 1-2 hrs to get a new toon, and its not even an epic or mythic toon. Riot, toxin, now blade. Storm- event. Silver surfer breaker- event. Isnt this supposed to be an cell phone, ftp, idle game? I dont want to spend 1-2 hrs on every new toon [and 1-2 hours for each go round.] AND THEY GET POWER CREPT OUT OF USEFULNESS AFTER A YEAR. Less and less and less fun, for me. Seems like most in my alliance aren't really feeling it either.

Didn't scopley say that shadow conclave would be important in age of fear? It feels like they suck everywhere outside of war. No use for important events, a meh danger room. They were useful for 1 floor in Jeff towers and same in Quicksilver tower. I really like this team
