So, am I an asshole for keeping my options open?

I’ve recently started seeing someone, and we’re still getting to know each other. He’s been pretty direct about wanting me, but he hasn’t given me any indication that he wants to ask me to be in a relationship with him. It’s still pretty fresh, but he’s been consistent and has even asked me questions about the future.
Now, there’s someone else I’d also like to get to know, and he seems like a really great person too. Is it wrong that I’m getting to know both of them and planning to decide based on who I develop stronger feelings for?
I do feel a little guilty because it’s happening at the same time, but I’m assuming they might also be talking to or seeing other people. I just don’t want to reject someone now, only to realize later that I could have had something really good with them. Especially because, honestly, it’s pretty difficult for me to find genuinely good matches when it comes to men. These two are currently the only guys I’m talking to who actually seem interested in getting to know me, so part of me wants to play it safe and keep both options open for now. I don’t want to put all my eggs in one basket when neither of them and I are actually in a committed relationship yet. I’d rather get to know both of them naturally and see who I connect with more before making a decision.
Is this wrong?
