Ktm is doomed! Think before buying.
I’ve been a customer of KTM for more than 6 years. All these years, Ktm was one of the best showrooms/service I ever seen. They had been reliable, same day service delivery, work has been great from their side, showroom quality, their reception. Everything was great.
Ever since bajaj tookover. That benchmark has been drastically reduced. its horrible now.
my first gen duke has fork oil leak. And I have been riding to and fro to the service centre for more than 3 weeks because they have less workforce.
head counts of mechanics drastically reduced. service timings became too long. service associates are rude. No AC, No fan, No water and I’m sitting in a showroom after a long fight and made them to accept and deliver the bike today itself after the service.
This is the same service centre I praised for a long time.
they dont give spare parts to work with outside mechanic too. the most common pattern is they are giving more priority to general service than major complaints. since both costs generally similar but major complaints takes time and energy.
Not sure how long they’ll sustain like this.
