Long International travel with 10month old twins
Hi FTM here, we are flying to the Philippines from the USA with our 10-month-old twins via Cathay Pacific, with a 10-hour layover in Hong Kong. I’ll be traveling with my 10-month-old twins and am planning to bring 24 bottles (8 oz each) of ready-to-feed formula in my carry-on, plus another 24 bottles in my checked luggage for our return flight to the US.
I know TSA allows a reasonable amount of baby formula, but is the Philippines strict about bringing this much formula in carry-on luggage? We’ll also be flying back to the US via Cathay Pacific, this time with a 15-hour layover in HKG.
Since total travel time will be around 35 hours (though we’ll be in business class), do you have any advice for traveling long-haul with 10-month-old twins? Any tips for handling formula, sleep schedules, layovers, diaper changes, or keeping them comfortable during such a long trip would be really helpful.
