Switched from load stands to stairs. Thoughts?
My site recently switched from using the old bench like load stands to the stairs that are taller, narrower, with little dinky railings to give the impression of safety. They seem like death traps to me, especially considering we can’t reach the belt from the top while doing fluid load so have to go up and down with each box, and can’t make three points of contact if it’s a box that requires two hands.
Any experience with them on whether they’re actually more safe? Or is this just another piece of bullshit equipment my buildings acquisitions team let themselves get lied to about like the last several ‘safety’ upgrades?
