Ather registered my scooter, sent RC & VIN… but dealer says vehicle not assigned yet??
Booked an Ather 450XHR Gen 5 in Stealth Blue on May 8th, and payment is all done
Fast forward to today:
- I already received my RC card via post
- VIN number is generated
- Registration is complete
But when I contacted the dealer on 22 May, asking for delivery status, they casually told me the vehicle is “not assigned yet.”
How does that even make sense?
How can the RC and VIN exist if there’s supposedly no vehicle assigned?
This entire process feels completely uncoordinated and honestly, very frustrating as a customer who already paid in full weeks ago.
I’ve now raised a formal complaint with Ather and asked them to resolve this within 48 hours.
Has anyone else faced something similar with Ather deliveries recently?
