AP Literature Homework Ideas
I am entering my second year of teaching AP Lit, and I was wondering about what has led to success in terms of homework. I want to use this thread as a way to pull ideas from and see what works for me, my process, and my practice. Please, keep this thread specifically to what type of homework, methods for homework, and other sort of practices that have been done with work outside of the classroom.
I have really just tried AP Classroom videos, and I really wasn't the biggest fan of them as means of homework. They seem to work more as something when I am not in the classroom and need for when the students should be productive without occupying much on the outside of it.
I have had concerns about homework: the students who do it hardly need it, the students who need it hardly do it. But, really, I want something that works for all students, especially help the students who would already do the homework so it doesn't feel like a waste of time.
