[Homebrew Feat] Versatile Weapon Master

Versatile Weapon Master

Prerequisite: Level 4+, Strength 13+

You gain the following benefits.

Ability Score Increase. Increase your Strength score by 1, to a maximum of 20.

Versatile Maneuvers. On each of your turns, you can choose to benefit from one of the following features.

  • Heavy Blow. Each time you hit a creature with a Versatile weapon you're wielding with two hands as part of the Attack action, you can cause the weapon to deal extra damage to the target. The extra damage equals your Proficiency Bonus.
  • Quick Blow. Immediately after you hit a creature with a Versatile weapon you're wielding with one hand, you can make one Unarmed Strike as a Bonus Action if you aren't wearing a shield.
  • Fierce Guard: Immediately after you take the Dodge Action, you can make an attack with a Versatile weapon as a Bonus Action.

Excessive comments about how "Actually this cool thing isn't Solarpunk enough" is starting to get unproductive

Pattern that often gets repeated here

  1. Someone posts Solarpunk content, often with "Aesthetics/Art" tag
  2. People asking "How is this Solarpunk?" or otherwise criticizing the OP for how the content isn't Solarpunk enough, when the content's issues are relatively unobjectionable

What is this sort of criticism meant to accomplish? Are we trying to gatekeep? Is anything less than perfection now considered greenwashing? Or is it because ideological purism helps with farming clout? I doubt there needs to be more Leftist infighting than there already is.

Sequel to the first post: https://www.reddit.com/r/onednd/comments/1sd9ngq/whoever_wrote_the_new_villanous_options_ua_i_hope/

Whereas the first UA had great ideas/flavor but lacked balance, this second UA has apparently been very well received for the balance (aside from some weird venom monk feature wording/specifications).

In particular folks really seem to like the martial subclasses and how much oomph they have, and I feel that way too. I'm looking forward to finally getting impactful, strong new martial subclasses after some rather lackluster stuff like the Banneret fighter.
