GDNRSS asked if I wanted to change hospitals
Hi everyone, I hope you are all well.
I received an email from GDNRSS today asking for height and weight details and also if I wanted to change hospitals for my surgery as I'm nearing the top of the waiting list.
My referral is for feminising genital surgery (vulvoplasty or minimal depth vaginoplasy) and I asked to be referred to Tina Rashid at Parkside. My options at the moment are Miss Rashid or Mr Bellringer at Parkside, or Miss Rashid or Mr Taranto at Chelsea and Westminster. I'm not able to choose my surgeon but from what I've read, Guiseppe Taranto would be preferable over James Bellringer. I'm currently leaning towards Chelsea and Westminster.
Does anyone have any idea if the wait times for Chelsea and Westminster are shorter than Parkside or if there is anything that I might not have considered that might make me change my mind?
