I have a jewellery business and ship orders through India post. I charge ₹60 as shipping fee from customers as people hate paying for shipping and more=worse. And it is understandable from customers point of view as even I don't like to pay it when buying something online. But since India post has increased the charges now I'm loosing money. I have to pay from my own pocket. If I increase the fee, it's gonna cost me my sales. Any private courier services charge too much(more than ₹100). I got to know few days ago that shadowfax has comparatively lower charges but gst number is necessary to use the app and I don't have it yet. I am really confused as to what I should do now. Please share your experiences with private couriers. In the last slide, the charge was 55 because weight was <50 grams. Others are 50>100 grams.

My parents think running a small business is a high effort and time consuming thing with low returns and they're not totally wrong. They want me to shut it down and focus on my studies. I don't want to do so as I can manage both of them together. I need ideas as to how I can convince them to keep me doing so.

Hi all, I have a small jewellery business and I am struggling to make sales. I've been doing this for 2 years now. Some days are good some are bad. But for a few months sales have dipped and I am not sure about the reason. I am barely getting any sales from instagram, used to get a few from reddit but even that's not working out anymore. Not gonna close this business although I've thought about it uncountable times. What keeps me going is regular customers who keep coming back.
