it's a really popular book about a bullied girl who falls for a mafia leader. he is rich, black, tall and really handsome. the girl likes pastel colors, is plus-sized (i think) and works at a café. i'm pretty sure she is in high school.

a really big part of her personality is strawberry hand cream (which she also rubs into the male's hands over his scars at one point). she also has a penguin plushie.

she has an abusive and alcoholic mother and i'm pretry sure she had stabbed her at one point. they're also really poor.

the story is a typical grumpy x sunshine and i'm pretty sure the title starts with an A and that it is the name of the male love interest.
