[ADVICE] Charged more than what was shown?
Hey all,
Has anyone had this issue with Fiverr? Support are being entirely unhelpful and telling me to get in touch with my local tax authority.
Basically I have two issues.
They overcharged me. The quote I received (I have screenshots) was about $10 cheaper than what I actually paid (and what appears on the receipt). They said it “happens sometimes” which frankly isn’t acceptable.
They’re handling tax from my country incorrectly which resulted in me paying an extra $100 on top of the quoted price + service fee.
They’re genuinely being really irritating and have admitted multiple times that they know there’s issues, but that either 1) the law doesn’t apply to them (it does) 2) or that this just happens sometimes.
I’m at a loss, I don’t want to chargeback because I know that will impact the seller (I was very happy with his service!) but they’re not giving me anything to work with.
