AITA for cheating on my husband
I (34f) has been having difficulty in my relationship, my husband (42m) has been distant and taking 39 minutes bathroom breaks, about a 2 months ago I was looking on his phone and I found multiple long text messaging threads with sexual and romantic topics. At the time I did not confront him or think to check anything other than the few things I had read, because I wanted to clam myself to confront him. We had gotten into a heated argument about the money he was spending on our shared bank account. So to get back on him I want on multiple dates and did the deed with the person, after my husband and I had a talk….
He was texting anime ai bots. He had confessed this to me after I asked him if he was cheating, I had felt so bad as he confessed so then I confessed my actions. Though I did not tell him the part in which I had done the deed. I told him it was like the same thing as I was only having the conversations/date. He asked for some space and went to his friends place, I don’t think he should be upset as I didn’t even tell him we did the deed. To him I only went on a few dates as revenge I didn’t understand why he would be throwing this tantrum.
The money he was spending on our shared bank account was going to the ai bots as he was paying for a subscription, I believe my actions were justified. I told my younger sister about this and she had told me to go to Reddit.
