Utemaster load lids?

Thoughts on utemaster load lids for a dual cab?
Cheaper than a canopy, but still pricey?
Any one have experience/ a better option or do u get what u pay for?

4jj1

Truthfully, how many kms can you get out of a 4jj1 engine assuming it’s been serviced properly at the correct times….
I’m looking at a ‘16 dmax with 170xxx on the clock. How much life left before major engine or transmission work is required? And are they as good as people say they are?

Kickass 12 volt

Thoughts on kickass 12v stuff?? Looking at their battery box setups… is there a big increase in quality compared to the kings equivalent? Only planning to run a 40 litre fridge and some lights… or is their better alternatives to a 12v setup dual battery setup
Lastly, where does redarc come into the equation, is the quality worth it?
Mainly for the occasional camping trip here and there

Dpf vs no dpf

Looking to buy my next 4wd…

I am stuck on the whole dpf thing.

Is a pre dpf model genuinely more reliable/ the better option compared to the newer diesels?

I’m looking into gen 4 pajeros if that matters

Appreciate any advice!

After some advice please!

Hey all,

Need some advice/direction into what I consider as my next car!

Currently I own a 2017 ranger 3.2 auto…

As a p plater, it has been a great first 4wd and has served me well. At the moment it’s sitting at 180xxx kms and hasn’t given me many problems… (fingers crossed)

Still weighing up if I want another ute or a wagon but open to both…

I’m after a reliable 4wd that will take me to most places, doesn’t have to tow, and my budget is around $35k…

It will be my everyday car too…

At the moment, I’m leaning towards an MR Triton, a later year gen 4 Pajero… don’t really know much about Toyotas but also happy to look into

After reading about all the potential problems these rangers can have, I feel I should get out asap before it starts costing real money 🤣

TIA
