Gear Struggles - Please Advise

Hey hey,

I am looking for gear advice. See below for my current setup but I am looking for recommendations and don’t want to sell my organs to figure out what works best for me.

Currently my main niche is wildlife / landscapes. I have shot one event so far (horse riding for children) and sold some digital copies from that. I am in talks with a potential client for a family portrait but honestly am still more novice to everything photography. Have only been practicing for about a year.

Current Gear:
- Canon EOS R7 (1.6 crop factor)
- Sigma 150-600

I just got the Sigma 18-35mm f/1.8 DC HSM ART but am thinking of returning it. - just not a fan of this focal length I think.. for now anyways.

I got this to have a more versatile wider lens, more appropriate for portraits vs the telephoto sigma.

Not opposed to prime lenses but having a zoom lens is my current preference.

TLDR : Looking for lens recommendations for my Canon R7 that I can use for non wildlife photography. Something versatile like 24-70 I think.

Budget is approx $1500 max but there’s wiggle room.
