Need Advice on Toro Super recycler 21564
I'm completely new to the lawnmower world, this will be my first time buying and using one. I need to mow about 13,000 sq ft of mostly flat yard. After doing a ton of research (and since Honda is out of the game now), I narrowed it down to the Toro 21" Super Recycler with the 190cc engine and Electric Start (model 21564) for $799 plus tax.
The problem is, it's out of stock at every local dealership. The closest place that actually has one requires a 250-mile round trip. Acme Tools and other online retailers have it on backorder with an estimated shipping date of late July. Is this mower really worth the hype, the long wait, or a massive road trip?
P.S.: I’ve rented a Honda HRN216 (170cc) twice from Home Depot. Last time, I set the height to 2.5" to cut grass that had grown for two weeks (it was previously cut at 3.5"), and it felt seriously underpowered. That’s why I'm leaning heavily toward a bigger gas engine and steering clear of battery-powered options.
