Pictured (Pic 1) is the wall at the front of the house in my basement. We are in the process of getting our basement finished. I want to place a large TV on this wall and would like to have the receiver below it. I want to run the speaker wires in the wall to a wall plate (Pic 2) which would be behind the receiver. The wall will be insulated with spray foam insulation as it is an exterior wall. I have several questions. Should I use a box and conduit for the speaker wire, and if so what do I use? Also, how high up off of the floor should I put the wall plate/box?
