I just finished letrozole 5mg from cycle day 2-6, I was scheduled to go in today for my mid cycle ultrasound on cycle day#9, but before I went in I took an ovulation test and it was positive. I never ovulated this early. My doctor has me come in for ultrasound and I only grow two follicles on the left side, one 13 and one 11. But my lining was only 4.4mm. My last two failed IUI cycles my lining was able to reach 8mm by mid cycle ultrasound. So my doctor said this is likely a false positive, and asked me to coming in on Friday which is 3 days later for another ultrasound. Weirdly I started to fell extremely bloated today, which similar to the symptoms I get before ovulation, but not sure this time if it’s due to side effects from letrozole? Anyone experienced this before? Am I missing my chance by waiting for another ultrasound on Friday?

Anyone having issues with letrozole coverage? I’m on my 3rd IUI, and I had no issues getting letrozole covered by insurance the last 2 cycles. This time they changed the policy that letrozole can only be covered if prescribed for 90days??!! I ended up paying out of pocket with some coupon cut down cost to $18, better than paying 115$, but still. Hope this is the last time I ever need to be on this meds
