6 weeks pregnant + spotting

I am 34, am 6 weeks + 2 days, and am super high risk. I had preeclampsia with my first in 2022, delivering him at 31 weeks + 4, (he is completely healthy and a very well adjusted 3 year old), found out after that birth that I have antiphospholipid syndrome and then in 2025 I suffered a missed miscarriage that required two D&C’s due to retained tissue.

I started experiencing some spotting a few days ago, and it has not let up. I went to urgent care yesterday, saw baby and saw a strong heartbeat of 105! I am feeling hopeful but the brown spotting continues and still just makes me nervous. Anyone else experience spotting and still go on to have a healthy pregnancy? I never experienced spotting in the previous pregnancies so this is totally new for me.

Any advice would be helpful! 🥰

My last pregnancy resulted in a positive ovulation test + pregnancy test after I bled lightly for a few days. I had a viable pregnancy for 7 weeks but it ended with a missed miscarriage, 2 D&C procedures 1 month apart and an infection following.

My husband and I have been trying since January and in similar fashion, I have a positive ovulation strip at 13DPO, and 4 days in to what “should be” my period. My bleeding is super light, barely on a pad, but honestly thought maybe it’s my period? Haven’t taken a pregnancy test yet, but will this week.

I don’t want to get my hopes up again so I just want other women to weigh in with their thoughts and or experience! Thanks!!
