Road Sign Maintenance

Driving down Lower Glanmire Road earlier on and noticed that part of the railway crossing ahead sign is loose and on the footpath. Said I would have a look on Google Maps to see how long it’s been like that. I had to go back to 2019 before I could find it properly in place. I’m not sure who looks after that sign. It could be TII, Cork City Council or Irish Rail. I’m surprised it’s been left like that for this long. It’s been that way for the best part of 7 years now. I’m actually half tempted to go out with a spanner myself and sort it out. Or maybe go out and trip over it and put a claim in against the council first before fixing it.

N27 Lane Closure

The South City Link is down to one lane inbound today for some hedge cutting. The traffic will probably get backed up between Kinsale Road and the City a bit later on over it. Just a heads up for anyone using it today.
