Can I still submit late assignments? (Would teachers still take them?)

I had HW due last week, but ended up not doing it to focus on finals. I saw that grades are due by faculty on the 23rd though (?), so can I still email professors HW before then?

I saw this online, and I thought... isn't this too similar? Is Hoyo taking too much 'inspiration' from Granblue Fantasy?
