P&L Calendar and Journal are different . I see why according to the Calendar I am above consistency but according to the journal they were split in two days so I don't really know how I'm not passed yet or if I should be . Calendar should match journal if it's supposed to work as a true journal . Just causing confusion .
Ever since I've started trading and I didnt start with options but I really started getting into them about 6 months after trading small caps and getting wrecked . From what I've learned, you can only lose what you put in and as long as you have a good system that has decent risk management, it doesn't have to be that great but in no case would that ever happen if you're a decent trader . Compared to futures or forex that seems much "safer" to trade when trading something like Nasdaq(QQQ) or the S&P(SPY) . Is there something I'm missing or is there something I dont know why they're talked down upon so much ?
Trading Asia session rn and I usually stick to MNQ but for some reason I swapped to NQ . Marked a zone on MNQ and swapped to NQ for no reason at all and on MNQ the zone had been wicked through but on the same candle on NQ it hasn't touched the zone but there is still a top wick . This has me wondering which is more "accurate" and if you scale from MNQ to NQ would you have to tweak your strategy to adapt to this change .
