Spouse visa priority from Spain:

Application: 20th July

Bio: 23rd July

ECO: 24th July

Approval: 19th August

Entry: 25th August (we'd asked for 10th August but hey!)

19 Working Days!

In time for our fifth wedding anniversary on the 31st August!! 🥲

P.s I had a pro-rated pay slip in January as I started on the 19th Jan and it was clearly no issue! Straightforward case with previous Spouse visa approval in 2020 (then we moved abroad and have now come back!)

Hi all,

We were told by our lawyer this morning that IELTS for UKVI General Training is not accepted and that it has to be Life Skills, but then I pushed back a lot and they've "checked with a senior solicitor" and come back and said it IS accepted... This obviously inspired zero trust in the lawyers for starters, but can anyone confirm either way if IELTS for UKVI (we were certain to get this) General Training is in fact accepted?

My wife will get at least a C1 as she's worked in the UK previously and speaks fluently, but the lawyer also (erroneously, I believe?!) said they've seen refusals for having a "too high" a score...

Any insight would be hugely appreciated! Thanks all!
