Hey guys! I recently moved into an apartment and have been having issues keeping the heat in my frogs enclosure. The temps at my house before remained super consistent and I never had any issues and now in my apartment despite setting my thermostat to 74 his tank ranges from 80-83 on the warm side and 70-72 on the cold. Are these too low? And if so should I purchase a bulb with a higher wattage? (I have a dimming thermostat) ^ attached above is the bulb I have in it now
Does Rambo look swollen? I’m a big worrier lol, does he look swollen? Fat? Or normal. He’s been acting totally normal not lethargic and is eating and his belly feels squishy (I wore gloves when checking ofc) idk if I’m just overthinking
Hello! I’ve had my pac man frog Rambo for about two months now and he refuses to tong feed, will not eat nightcrawlers and only likes dubia roaches and crickets (I think because he likes to “hunt” them lol) I feed him outside of his enclosure as I don’t want the food to get lost in there, he doesn’t show any signs of stress however I know it’s better to feed them in their enclosure. Is there a way to do this with the roaches and crickets? Or am I better off just continuing as normal
Hey guys! I’m headed back to college in a few weeks and was wondering what the best way to transport my pac man frog Rambo would be? It’s about a two hour drive. Should I just buckle his tank into my passenger seat and plug his heat lamp into the outlet in my car?
Thank you all for the suggestions!! Rambo ended up loving the crickets! I guess he’s just a picky little guy
Hello all! I got my pacman frog Rambo exactly a week ago and have been offering him/her food with no luck. He/she shows very little interest. I got him to eat one piece of night crawler about 3 days ago and he hadn’t eaten anything else. I’ve only dug him up twice to try and feed and otherwise leave him be as I don’t wanna stress him. Humidity and temp are in the good ranges, idk what to do 🫠😵💫😵💫 I tried putting him in a separate container and giving him privacy, I’ve tried switching to horned worms (in small pieces ofc) I know Babies can take a while to adjust but I can’t help but worry 🥲🥲
