Finally forced myself to watch Earthlings
I've been a vegan for several years, so I didn't need convincing. Even though I intellectually knew most of what was presented in the film, I guess I felt I owed it to the animals to actually witness it. JFC... I repeatedly went back and forth between crying my eyes out and gazing numbly at the screen. Anyone who watches this movie and doesn't renounce animal products is a legit psychopath. I think that's why so many people refuse to watch it... they know factory farming is horrible, but they make excuses (I know I used to) and suppress thinking about it. This film forces you think about it in the most direct way possible, so it requires you to actually acknowledge what you've been supporting and then make a change in your life. I'm sure all of this has been said before, but just needed to get it out. Thanks for reading.
