How the entirety of 608 is badly written

How the entirety of 608 is badly written

(Not in order)

James Lee's condition

-Being in a worse condition than a Kitae who just fought against UI and 2 different paths while on the other hand James fought against "the weakest member of the fist gang" who was in a weakend state on top of that

-Going from "low diffing" Tom in 607 to an offscreene extreme diff and leaving him just unconscious on the floor seeming like he wasn't able to finish him off

-Their positions making no sense how the fight could have possibly made them end up like that

(Only potential explanation to my past 2 points being: James didn't want to finish Tom off and laid himself down to recover and aurafarm on the supposed throne crater 🤣)

Daniel's regression in development

Daniel unconsciously stops hesitating and holding back again in the half UI implying that he still hesitates in his fighting style when he's conscious even tho he stopped doing that after Gun's training in Hunt for Big Deal which just wipes one of the only real character development Daniel has had since OG Lookism

Jay being a 0 dimensional "character" and plotdevice

Jay spawning out of nowhere just to play the same exact role which looks like is the only reason for his existence currently: Trying to stop Daniel when hes out of control, getting beaten the hell out of him, ending up hugging him which gets Daniel to get a hold of himself.

Just comical

(Jay was always a character with low depth and just there for superficial things like the MC having a gay >!onesided!< ship for the readers and solving any financial problem that Daniel will ever potentially have in the entire series but now it seems like PTJ just spits on the very few Jay Fans that are left.

Who knows if we'll ever get his backstory extension or anything of that sort)

Kitae being suprised that James won

Not much has to be said here, this basically downscales James to hell and makes no sense narratively as Kitae should be one of the only one's that truly know how strong James is

Gun knows everything don't you dare question how

Gun explaining the phase of learning to control UI with details like "first your head is gonna feel like it's gonna explode" as if Gun went ever through that process himself which he obviously didn't lol. He was born with it and he didn't even know anyone that learned to control UI except for Shintaro who is out of the question in the first place as we and Gun aswell never saw how he aquired it

Extra:

Zack sending Vasco to Daniel instead of going himself which just happend to show that Vasco achieved durability mastery 😱

Context to this post:

>!I replied to someone on Tiktok who unironically asked where the bad writing in this chapter was, I ended up putting too much effort in the reply for it to just be a tiktok comment so I decided to post this here after changing the format so it fits better as a Reddit thread!<
