My aunt almost set my arranged marriage with a murderer who was still in the jail.
When i was 18, my Maternal aunt first came with the marriage proposal of this guy. Who had killed his neighbour by his car. And he was still in jail. So the mother of the guy and his youngest sister who was 25 years old came to my house with marriage proposal i was terrified. He was the oldest among his 7 siblings. They had money so taking him out from the jail wasn't problem. ( I know my parents opinion matters but this deal was like their younger daughter (25 year old) will marry my younger brother ( was 16 at that time) and i was supposed to marry the oldest son. So there was chance that they will agree. As that time i had denied do start working as a labourer in a company so they also did started calling everyone to find a guy for and for that reasons this aunty had came she even stayed at our home) But thank fully my parents thought the girl who will marry my brother was too much older so they declined this.
Than again as the hunt was still on my aunt again came with another proposal, but this time the guy was father of two daughters. Apparently his wife died due to electric shock ( which i really don't believe). And my aunt was like no one will marry me. And this is the best option.( Mind you i never understand why would no one marry me ( i think she was slut shaming me) i was just a teenager, even i was studying in college i was not an regular student. Only went to college in exams and to submit assignments, neither i had phone. But before they do something i joined the job in that company even as a labourer and now i am 22 and the lesson i learned is to never stay unemployed.
(FACT my maternal aunt is chill because her own younger son killed her older son. And just in one year the younger son was out. And they all act like this shit never happened)
