i had rt in physics 12th result but i want to pursue bajmc

so im a science student but i want to go for journalism and applied for bajmc course. ive paid my admission and application fee. ive checked the pinned posts but i didnt find any answering my doubts. i tried to call the helpdesk number but its presumably closed during weekends.

i changed my 12th result status from awaited to declared and entered my best 5 subject's percentage, did i do it right? i have a repeat theory in physics but my result says PASS.

how long can i wait for a response from the university? and what will be the procedure after ive been selected? also the admission portal says to pay the program fee already but its no necessary, right? since im yet to be selected.

will there be an interview after im selected? also, in the section which asks to enter the entrace exams ive given, ive selected CUET but its still pending since the exams r ongoing. do i wait til theyre declared? i dont think cuet marks really matter in MUJ since its merit based. can i simply remove CUET from the entrace exams given section then?

hey im a 12th pass out (2026) and im planning on choosing MUJ after the results are out. ive seen few reels and read few reviews about the univesity and as much as the happening life is tempting, i actually want to take my future seriously.

im intrested in journalism so ive registered for BJMC (hons.), i would like to know how is the scene for fellow students in this course? internships and placements? and specifically for this course, are the teachers good and overall resources well provided?

ive calculated the total cost for 3 to 4 years and its almost 11.5lakhs. i dont want that much money invested in my studies and the college turning out to be absolute dipshit. i come from a middle class family and i am still exploring for more options but im geniunely considering manipal.

though im very anxious even thinking about going to such a place known for being full of people with generational money on their hands.

also, since the hostel fee is abit too pricey according to me, are the pgs around there way more affordable? and ik ill be missing out if i stay out of hostel but u gotta lose something. do suggest some great ones and please mention the prices too if you are aware since i couldnt find it in their websites!

anyways, i really need an in depth explanation if anyone is willing!
