I had a trip planned for this Thursday, I was going to meet a friend, but she got called into work for the weekend. I went to try and cancel my flight but realized there’s a $89 cancellation fee, absolutely ridiculous considering that’s what my ticket cost. I was reading some other posts and apparently there’s no fees for a no show. Now I’m thinking I just shouldn’t cancel and just not show up for my flight, is this a good idea? My friend already offered to pay for my flight, knowing that they don’t offer refunds, the issue is just paying the stupid cancellation fee.
