Need advice. Emergency contraception + anxiety spiraling (PCOS)
I had unprotected sex on May 18. No ejaculation inside but possible pre-cum exposure. I don’t take pills anymore since monthly I have irregular periods
My last period started April 28. I have PCOS and my cycles are irregular (33–40 days), so ovulation timing is hard to track.
I took emergency contraceptive pills within a few hours after sex and completed the full dose as prescribed by my OB. Yes, i called my OB right away. Also, im on isotret for 36 days now
Today I also tried to inquire about getting a copper IUD, but no clinics are responding yet. i feel like I’m overthinking it and taking the lack of replies as a “sign” not to proceed. I will also be going back to my province soon which adds to my stress.
Noww I’m extremely anxious and overthinking every body sensation and possible pregnancy sign. I keep spiraling even though I already took the pills correctly.
i just need calm, factual advice based on evidence (similar experience esp the ovulation part), not fear or assumptions pls
