Question about Knave's Standard and its improved versions
Having come upon [Knave's Standard](https://2e.aonprd.com/Equipment.aspx?ID=3912) on Archives of Nethys, I can't help but wonder why the Greater and Major versions only scale up by improving the die size by one each time.
Can anyone explain what makes the better versions worth grabbing?
