Hello everyone! Not as many changes to the TL this go around.

Sigrid debuts in T.5 (Watchlist UP).

Promeia -> Watchlist DOWN removed, falls from T0->T.5.

Cissia -> SEED Partner tag removed.

Aria - > Watchlist DOWN removed (Remains in T0).

Pan Yinhu -> Falls from T1->T1.5 (That free Lucia hurt).

Good luck to everyone pulling for Sigrid and the 3x rerun banner(s). I hope your pulls are umazing!🐴

Full Changelog:

  • Sigrid NEW added to T0.5 with [Watchlist UP]: The tall tales that Lindverne spins up about Sigrid may seem exaggerated, but there’s truth to them. Despite being straightforward in her game plan, Sigrid excels at doing what she needs to do: damage. She does it well enough that not only is she a strong entry into the Attacker role, she’s also one of the strongest, as her damage potential is second only to Ye Shunguang within the CRIT DPS category, being a watershed that clearly distinguishes 3.X numbers from those of 2.X Agents. It helps that she’s very flexible too, able to get competitive results with a variety of Stunners and Supports. It may be pre-emptive to put her beside the Void Hunter, though, especially as the presence of a future class may lead to further changes in the meta, but it’s also unfair to put her beside some older DPS whose damage is a notable step-down from Sigrid’s. As a result, we debut her in T0.5 but with a Watchlist UP tag, with us looking to re-evaluate placements in the CRIT DPS category more broadly in another Tier List update.
  • Cissia T0.5 [Partner (Seed)] -> T0.5: Cissia’s design is one that comes across as being meant for double DPS teams: Quick Assists out of her skills, team-wide buffs, and strong Daze application without being demanding of field time. It’s been clear since her release that she had belonged in Seed teams, but as of late, Cissia has done surprisingly well when running solo. Norma has brought a great uplift to Cissia’s performance, with the additional Corrode Bone triggers she can get from extra Chain Attacks being a significant improvement to her damage output, not to mention that Norma also benefits from Cissia’s team-wide CRIT DMG buffs. Although she won’t be as strong solo as she is with Seed, that’s still strong enough to make her be on par, if not better, than other T0.5 DPS. We don’t think that the performance disparity between her Seed and solo teams is so great as to justify a Partner tag, so Cissia loses it and remains in T0.5.
  • Aria T0 [Watchlist DOWN] -> T0: Aria is, without a doubt, the best Anomaly Agent for Velina and Remielle teams. She was already outperforming most others with only Velina, but Remielle has considerably widened the gap, as long animations place more emphasis on being able to build Anomaly fast, so as not to miss out on Vortexes in stuns. Her Ablooms are secondary, as using Flight of Fancy for its raw Anomaly Build-up Rate and Proficiency is a much better pick than Aria’s own Signature W-Engine! It also helps that many enemies in the game are Ether weak, and Aria’s Anomaly application is high enough that she still does well even against those that aren’t. In the fights Aria is best, she’s a clear standout, and even in those she isn’t, it’s likely that it won’t be by a big margin. As a result, we’re keeping her in T0 to highlight her all-around performance relative to the other Anomaly drivers.
  • Promeia T0 [Watchlist DOWN] -> T0.5 : Since her release, Promeia has been very dominant in much of the endgame, with frequent weakness matching, accommodating boss rotations, and all-around high damage output. She still does well, but the Velina/Remielle template that Anomaly as a whole has fallen into isn’t an ideal match. Promeia’s total Anomaly build-up in a fight is heavily conditional on her counter EX, which skews the distribution of her application to when enemies can attack. This means that she isn’t getting as many Vortexes when it matters (such as in stuns), and between Remielle’s constant holds and certain enemy mechanics, she can struggle to maximise her build-up. It doesn’t help that her greatest strength - that being high Abloom DMG - isn’t as relevant when so much time in stun is taken up by Remielle’s long animations, robbing her of burst windows. Out of the Anomaly cast, Promeia may just be the one with the greatest variety of high performing teams, with both Nangong and Vivian working well when paired with her, but her peak performance in an environment dominated by Velina/Remielle isn’t at Aria’s level, so we’ve moved her down.
  • Pan Yinhu T1 -> T1.5 : Ever since his release, Pan has fit into the role of a free-to-play Rupture supportive unit, providing a decent Sheer increase and some DMG bonuses on top. He was a clear holdover until the premium Rupture Support, Lucia, and there has always been a significant gap in their performance, but this has become even more apparent as of late. Although the Bunny in Wonderland set helped him briefly, ever increasing enemy health pools haven’t done him any favours, and with the anniversary S-Rank Selector giving out a free Lucia, he hasn’t been as relevant. This has reached the point where some of his most common pairings are with Lucia, rather than as a substitute for her! With our recent moving down of many Agents in the Support category, it’s about time that Pan sees some movement too, so he drops down to T1.5.

Prydwen 3.0 Tierlist Update (First Phase)

Good luck everyone pulling for Remielle! Also, this is a 3.1 TL, the title says 3.0. MB.

Full Changelog:

  • Remielle T0 NEW: As expected, Remielle’s performance lives up to her title of being one of THE original Void Hunters. Refringe is a direct, unsaturated buff to Anomalies; she offers one of the highest ATK buffs in the game, has good Daze application, increases the team’s Anomaly Build-up Rate and also works as a DPS, with Luminizes hitting especially hard on geared teams. That said, she isn’t perfect, and given the way her kit works, isn’t all that synergistic with most Anomaly Agents. She has very long animations, making her combos difficult to manage and Disorder teams struggle to run her effectively. Then there’s her desire for triple Anomaly teams, which makes the lack of Yuzuha’s additional Build-up acutely felt among the high Anomaly thresholds of recent enemies. Despite all of this, though, she still completely dominates the endgame. Put Remielle, Velina, and quite literally any Anomaly Agent in a team and she’ll easily exceed past scores. Even some Disorder-based teams are able to do better than before. As with many of the previous Void Hunter releases, Remielle redefines the meta, to the point that most other Anomaly carries can seem like an accessory to her teams rather than being the drivers behind them. As a result, she debuts in T0, likely to become a core unit to the best teams in her category.
  • Nekomata T2 → T1 : Nekomata has gone from what many saw as a 0-value 50/50 failure to being better than many previous limited Attackers in strength. Not only has she gotten some pretty absurd multipliers on her skills, but she also gets her M1’s forced back-attacks by default (regardless of stun state this time), and gets a much longer duration on her Core Passive buff, which itself is now much stronger! At higher Mindscapes and with Signature W-Engine dupes, she can do far better, but even at a base level she can dish out incredibly high damage, to the point we believe her to be strong enough to be deserving of T1.
  • Aria | Promeia T0 → T0 [Watchlist DOWN]: Both of these Agents have been the 2 dominant carries in the Anomaly meta as of late, benefitting not only from an extended period of favourable enemy encounters, but also synergising very well with Velina and the recent Wind Anomaly shilling. After Remielle’s release, neither is doing any worse than before; rather, they’re doing better, with Aria in particular seeing a significant uplift. All other Anomalies, however, also perform far better than before, with Velina and Remielle together “normalising” Anomaly as a whole in such a way that almost every single unit has competitive performance. As mentioned in Remielle’s entry on this Changelog, it seems as though Anomaly carries are accessories to her, and in this context, it’s worth evaluating if Aria and Promeia are uniquely strong Agents suited to be at T0 alongside Remielle, or if they’re closer to the rest of the Anomaly cast in their offering. While these two do appear to be the best drivers for Remielle teams, the question is whether these two are so significantly ahead of others that they’d be indispensable picks for T0-level performance. As a result, we’re Watchlisting them both down to evaluate if they’re still deserving of a T0 placement, or if they’re more in line with the rest of the Anomaly cast.
  • Velina T0.5 → T0 : If there is one indispensable pick for getting the most out of Remille’s teams, it’s Velina. Her long animations make maintaining Disorders incredibly difficult, and since her triple Luminizes are stronger, Disorders aren’t contributing as much as a Vortex, which is instead often on par with Luminizes. From the previous Changelog, we already acknowledged that we believed Velina to be at a T0 level, given how strong she has been for Anomaly Agents generally, elevating them all to high-performing clears. We weren’t sure how her synergy would pan out with Remielle, and on the surface, the high buff value, Daze and damage that teams get from running Remielle make them not seem all too different. In practice though, Remielle's seemingly universal value to Anomaly teams ends up being amplified by Velina’s presence, where she manages to excel even outside of Wind-weak content. Velina may not be the Void Hunter, but she’s a near must pick for one, and between that and her contributions to Anomaly generally, there’s no question that she deserves a T0 spot.
  • Alice T0.5 [Watchlist DOWN] → T0.5: Alice previously hadn’t been doing all that well, especially when the recent environment wasn’t so favourable for her. Wind was an even bigger blow, as the lack of Disorders was a big hit to her Blade Etiquette generation, limiting her performance on Velina teams. This is still the case, but surprisingly, Alice is one of the few Agents that has synergy with Remielle: as Polarity Assaults still count as an Anomaly being inflicted, they work to build up Voidflares, giving more Luminize triggers in a fight than most other Anomaly Agents. Her issues with Wind remain, but this helps account for the difference and allows her to do better than most of the Anomaly Agents at T1 when run alongside Velina/Remielle, having the potential to be even better than Nangong/Yuzuha. As a result, we think this is enough to secure Alice’s position in T0.5, and have removed her Watchlist.
  • Burnice T1 → T0.5 : Burnice has gone from a last-ditch sub-DPS pick for Anomaly teams to one of the strongest main DPS when being run alongside Velina. She has recently taken the lead on scores among the T1 Agents and is often matching or exceeding those of the T0.5 cast, doing incredibly well even with the general lack of Fire-weak Anomaly enemies for her to fight, so getting the level of performance she does right now without weakness advantage is impressive. Remielle is likely to reinforce this trend further, and given Burnice’s all-around success when compared to the T1 cast, we find her to be deserving of a move up to T0.5.
  • Grace T1.5 [Watchlist UP] → T1 : At M0, Grace had been struggling to be comparable to many of the other Anomaly Agents in T1, but whether or not that gap was enough to justify a half-tier difference wasn’t clear. With Remielle’s arrival putting more of the Anomaly power budget into Wind (given her preference for Velina in teams), Agents that work well with it, like Grace, see a big uplift as a result. When she’s able to do at least as well as Agents like Yanagi and Piper, there’s no reason to keep her in T1.5, so she joins the rest of the Anomaly cast at T1.
  • Zhao T0.5 [Watchlist DOWN] → T0.5: Although we contemplated moving Zhao down to T1, the actual buff value that she provides with her Signature W-Engine and the Bunny in Wonderland set is at the very least on par with Astra. Zhao may be a Defence character (meaning fewer team options) and she lacks the additional Ultimates that Astra provides, but she has a better Daze build and makes for easier Decibel management, so it’d be unfair to move her down. Rina’s Potential Unlock also offers comparable buff value to Astra and Zhao, so we’ve decided to keep all of these generalised supportive Agents in T0.5, as when the difference between all of them is marginal, even a half-tier drop would be unwarranted.
  • Ju Fufu | Trigger T0.5 → T1 : As mentioned in the previous Changelog update, both of these Agents have been working well as alternatives to more recent Stunner releases, but were falling far behind them in performance. With Norma being such a strong entry into the archetype and Dialyn still as dominant as she’s ever been, despite both Ju Fufu and Trigger’s commendable work at filling in on teams where better Stunners are available, we think half a tier isn’t enough to highlight the difference in strength. These two are still serviceable Agents, but we believe they’re more suited to T1 and have moved them down accordingly.
  • Rina T2 [Expert] → T0.5 : Rina sees the largest single jump in Tier List placement ever, with her Potential Unlock taking her from a difficult-to-use, M1-reliant, niche Agent to one of the better generalist Supports. PEN Ratio has always been a strong buff as the high levels of ATK and DMG saturation mean it’s often the best D5, and depending on the set-up, remains as such even when it’s conflicting with DEF Ignore. Having good uptime wasn't easy though, and it wasn’t able to keep up with the combined ATK and DMG % bonuses from other Agents. Now, these issues have been addressed: Drusilla and Anastella are constantly attacking enemies, so Rina not only gets to have easy uptime of her Core Passive buff, but she also has a much better maintenance of Weeping Cradle’s DMG bonus effect. Her buff has now been extended beyond PEN Ratio to also buff Flat ATK and DEF, the former of which makes her be comparable to Agents like Astra and Zhao in terms of raw buff value. There are even quality-of-life changes, like a faster Heavy Attack on EX Special. All these combined mean that while Rina is not quite beating out Astra when both are at M0W1, we find them to be close enough in performance that a T0.5 rating is justified. The Expert tag is also no longer warranted, as although she does still need some active management to keep the buff up out-of-stun without M1, it can be easily sustained for burst periods where it matters most.

Prydwen 3.0 Tier List (Phase One)

A new season of Zenless Zone Zero brings a new Tierlist alongside it from Prydwen. Velina and Pyrois both debut in T.5. Good luck to everyone pulling for Velina, and I hope everyone is enjoying the free Pyrois!

But, what are your day one thoughts on Velina and Pyrois? Do they deserve their ranking?

Full Changelog:

From 2.7 to now, we’ve held off from making drastic changes to individual character placements and focused more on placement for new Agents in the Tier List. That said, many characters are deserving of adjustment now, but there wasn’t much in these earlier patches that’d justify large changes other than buffs/variance to Deadly Assault/Shiyu Defense.

With a new Version and element, it’s about time to re-evaluate the Tier List so that it more accurately reflects the rough position of characters in the current meta.

We will be bringing back T1.5 and moving Agents to fit with the format. This will require a few back-end changes though, so we’re adding on the two new characters for now as they are unaffected by this and will have the remaining updates come in shortly after.

New additions:

  • Pyrois T0.5: Phaethon’s Bizarre Adventure has led them to going into combat proper for the first time, and Pyrois most certainly lives up to being the protagonists’ sword. Although their core gameplay loop is rather simple, the raw multipliers on their skills are exceptionally high, and between an Energy Generation Rate buff, very high Decibel gain (with a higher cap to boot), as well as the ability to get multiple Ultimates in a single stun, Pyrois delivers. Considering they’re Ether, being one of the elements with a very high count of weakness-matched enemies), they’re well-placed to perform. It’s likely that they can match or even outperform many of the Season 2 DPS, and while their future will be dependent on how good their Mindscapes end up being, as of their release we expect to see very strong scores. Owing to all this, we’re debuting Pyrois in T0.5.
  • Velina T0.5: At first, there isn’t much more to Velina than “Wind Anomaly”. That’s really all that she is, a method in which to build-up Wind on enemies and have other Anomaly Agents take advantage of its mechanics, with limited interactions outside of applying and maintaining it. The thing is, not only is Wind a very good mechanic for many Anomaly Agents, Velina has enough personal Daze contribution to allow for 3-stuns in Deadly Assault or faster stuns in Shiyu that yield higher scores owing to its timed multiplier system. It’s important to note that Velina really does not have much more to her besides this, as her damage with Ablooms and Cyclones isn’t anything crazy, and there are as many Agents that don’t see many benefits from Wind as those that do. The fact that she’s the only way that players can access the Wind mechanic currently, as well as the potential for additional/faster stuns she brings is enough to make her a competitive agent in 3.0, but we’re hesitant in rating her too highly when it’s unclear how important she will be as a unit. As a result, we debut Velina in T0.5.

Prydwen 2.8 (Phase 2) Tierlist Update

Billy (our favorite and silliest construct) debuts in T.5 joining the likes of Banyue and Yidhari. Good luck to everyone pulling for Silly! 🏍️

Seems like there will be many changes coming soon when 3.0 drops, and I'm very excited, how are all you guys feeling about 3.x? (Re-uploaded bc Promeia was missing from the UI for some reason).

Full Changelog:

  • Billy Starlight added to T0.5 (Crit DPS): Starlight Billy is about as “Rupture” a character as a character can be. This is not a criticism, it is praise, as he’s got the kit and the numbers to back up his strength. Be it daze, damage or outright style, he’s a solid, well-rounded entry into the role that doesn’t leave much to be desired, packing good matchups in both DA (Thrall, Defiler) and Shiyu (Scorpse, Guardian, etc.), and absolutely demolishing any and all in a dance-off. On the other hand, his long attack animations limit his burst potential, his actual power is muddled by some of the most aggressive shill yet, and it doesn’t help that he’s in a tricky element-role combination, with double-DEF but Physical resistant or half-DEF Physical weak bosses. We fully expect to see decent scores from players looking to use him in current endgame content, as Billy is a strong character, but not to the extent that we think he’d be at T0 once shill is accounted for, so he debuts at T0.5.
  • With 3.0’s full introduction of a new element and the potential for new mechanics, we’ll look to move other characters in the Tier List then.

Promeia debuts in T.5. Good luck to everyone pulling for the 🦇 wife!

Full Changelog:

  • Promeia added to T0.5 (Anomaly DPS): Promeia has come on as a strong unit who excels within her niche: high Anomaly build-up and Abloom buffing. She's very flexible, able to run in stun or some dual Anomaly teams with similar performance metrics, and her multipliers are unquestionably strong. Such a power budget seems like a necessity when considering her peers, and indeed, she more than manages to hold her own. Unfortunately, even if her numbers are good, she needs a place to make use of it... whereas Aria has plenty of Ether weak bosses to fight, the constant anti-shilling that Miyabi has received and the ever increasing count of half DEF bosses hurts her prospects. She certainly has the potential to rise a tier with more Abloom or Wind Anomaly Agents, but as it stands she's at a high risk of being a one-patch wonder, getting good scores on her own boss but faltering in the grand scheme of things. As it stands, we're debuting her at T0.5, but will keep a close eye on the future as new Agents and enemies in 3.0 may significantly improve her value.
  • As before, any changes to other existing Agents’ placements will be handled as part of the 3.0 patch.
