Hello, as in the title I have a project that requires using esp32s3-nano from waveshare on cnc shield v4 hw-702, on the shield there are 2 drv8825 drivers with NEMA17 stepper motors connected to them. I have a bit of a problem with the power. The cnc shield is designed around arduino nano which operates on 5v, my microcontroler works on 3.3v. How can I power the drivers and stepper motors using 12V power supply while powering my esp32 with 3.3v? Unfortunetly I cannot change any components as their usage is dictated by the assignment. I can modify the cnc shield in any way as I have a personal second kit. The person that gave me the assignment has the power sorted out on their board, but they are not really helpful.
