Z-offset Issues

My z-offset is WAY off. I've maxed it out both up and down, and it still won't get within more than a few mms of the nozzle.

I still have room on the lead screws to go up, but this is as high as it will go in manual.

I only have limited experience with printing through work, but i just got my own, and this is the issue I'm experiencing.

I'm sure I'm missing something obvious.

And ideas?

New Carbon Issues

Z-offset issues. This is the nozzle at the home position. I've maxed out the z-offset both ways, and it still won't get near close enough. There's still a few mms between the nozzle and the bed, and I still have room on the lead screws.

I've only had limited experience with printers through work, but I just got my own, and this is the issue I've been experiencing.

I'm assuming I'm missing something obvious. Any ideas?

Hopefully the pictures help.

(EDIT) This is actually as high as I can get the nozzle to go in manual. Not the home position.

I posted last night about options to secure my service mast. I've got that part figured out, but I'm running into another issue.

The spot that the engineer specified for the meter has a roof purlin running the entire distance of the wall, so I can't just notch it out and go through it.

I have a buddy who can bend 2.5" rigid conduit for me. Would it be kosher/normal to just bend around the 8" of roof overhang and go up from there?

Thanks for any input

I'm putting together the service mast for a shop I just had built.

If I run it straight up this stud on the outside, I'll run into a 2.5" thick beam at the top, which I can't cut or notch.

Is it normal/acceptable to put a 45-degree offset at the top to run it around the edge of the roof, instead of through it?

I've attached some pictures to reference. Hopefully, I've explained my dilemma well enough. The diagram is from the electrical company.

Any recommendations or alternative methods would be appreciated.
