Hi everyone,

I’m 16 years old and currently looking for a part-time job for about 2 months during my school break. I’m based in Abu Dhabi.

I’m interested in roles like barista, café staff, retail assistant, or anything similar where I can gain experience and earn some income. I’m willing to learn and work hard, even though I don’t have professional experience yet.

I also have some volunteering experience, but I’m not sure how relevant that is for job applications.

My main question is: what’s the best way for someone my age to find part-time work here? Do cafés or shops actually hire 16-year-olds, and what’s the best way to approach them?

Any advice, tips, or places that might be hiring would be really appreciated. Thank you!
