Metal Zone MT-2 troubleshooting audio
Hi, I was given a Metal Zone MT-2 pedal (used) as a gift and have been trying to get it to work properly, but alas no luck so far. I have a compressor pedal that is 1 of 2 pedals in the signal chain into my amp.
Bass-> Compressor pedal (wall adapter only) -> Metal Zone (9volt battery) -> amp
That is my signal chain, here is what I've tried:
Swapping all of my cables, replaced the battery in the pedal.
As of right now, when the compressor is OFF and the pedal is OFF I hear a buzz. When the compressor is ON and the pedal is OFF I hear a buzz. When the compressor is ON and the pedal is ON I hear NO SOUND. When the compressor is OFF and the pedal is ON it works, but it sounds off to me.
Any tips/ suggestions before trying to get it repaired / inspected?
