Cymbalta to Prozac switch
If you’re on here looking for info about switching from cymbalta to Prozac, here’s my take. I done research about this for about a month before I did it, I absolutely hated cymbalta. I switched a week ago and there was absolutely NO withdrawals, no brain zaps, no heart palpitations.. nothing. Yes, I’m aware that everyone is different, but if you’re scared to death like I was; it will be okay! I was on 30 mg for almost a year until I couldn’t take it anymore, and finally made the switch to 20 mg Prozac. My dr advised me to quit cymbalta cold turkey and just pick up Prozac and I was VERY hesitant about it from every single thread on here saying something was going to happen to me, but it didn’t. I can say the anxiety and shakiness is a little noticeable for a few days but I’m sure that’s from starting the Prozac. ❤️
