Any accountants / finance people here?

I’m 22M, graduated with a degree in accounting and finance last year and working in accounting for a big bank. My goal has always to be a digital nomad, so I’m just wondering if anyone out there doing what I’m doing has managed to do it as I’d love to hear your story of how you made it happen. Thanks in advance!

Surely people in Atlantic Canada aren’t this much richer than average 😅

I don’t believe this is true haha, what do you think?

22M, feeling behind

What the title says, feeling behind for my age seeing everyone on here with more money when I thought I was doing well. The debt is all student loans which are at 0% so just making monthly payment.

Got a job making total comp around 72-74K in accounting, and investments are all in TFSA/FHSA in US equities.

What should I be doing better or focusing on to reach my financial goals? I want to be able to retire at 45. Thanks in advance

M22 in NB

Feeling behind, everyone seems to have more than me here. Should I be learning options?

22M, Thoughts?

Hello everyone,

I began investing around a year and a half ago, and I am not confident in what I’m doing as everyone here seems to have better returns.

I’m looking for advice as to how I should invest for my age. Should I be more aggressive?

Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks

22M, please rate my portfolio

Should I optimize it more for growth? Feeling a bit behind and it seems everyone my age is doing better on his forum.

QQC and VDY are in TFSA
VFV and FBTC are in FHSA

Feel like everyone on Reddit is doing better than me. Keep seeing people my age with 200K.

Here is my situation, why do I feel like am I doing so poorly?

22M

Net Worth $26K

Assets:

TFSA: $29K (QQC & VDY)

FHSA: $17K (VFV & FBTC)

Emergency Fund: 5K

Crypto: 8K

Bank: 5K

Debt:

$38K Student Loans @ 0% interest (making minimum payments)

For context I make around 72K total comp in Eastern Canada, just graduated with a degree in finance and am currently living at home. What can I do to buy a house and retire one day? It feels so out of reach. Thanks in advance

22M, not sure if this is the right portfolio long term. QQC and VDY are in TFSA. VFV and FBTC in FHSA. Thanks in advance
