I’ve noticed a lot of modern kitchens now lean toward stainless steel, ceramic or cast iron cookware instead of traditional non-stick sets. Curious if your kitchen design, storage or cooking habits influenced what cookware you ended up using most.

Do you actively look for things like non-toxic coatings, safer materials, chemical-free cooking surfaces, stainless steel, cast iron, ceramic, etc. or do you mainly focus on price and convenience? Ceramic vs Cast Iron for Indian cooking which one do you end up using more?

Ceramic is convenient, easy to clean, and great for everyday cooking. Cast iron takes more effort but many people swear by it for the taste, heat and crispy dosas. Curious to know what people here prefer for regular Indian meals and what made you stick to it?
