I know most of us are old, but we can still rock. When Bleed American hits, let’s be the craziest crowd they’ve had on tour yet. Many of you have rocked out with me before, specifically in MKE last time they were there. Let’s have the biggest, friendliest, danciest, all ages welcome mosh pit this band has ever seen!!
Going to the Saturday game at Wrigley. Wondering if you can enter the plaza, leave, and come back for the game…only thing I could find on this sub when searching was for a year ago. Looking to see if anyone has info from recent games.
I’ve never seen this as an option for any show before, so I was pretty nervous about it…but it worked? It got me two “items that give you entry to a show” (it won’t let me say the word or else it thinks I’m a scalper)…and it got them at 9:37am.
I dunno, just wondering if anyone has done this for a show before?
Absolutely brutal what’s happening tonight…but I live in the neighborhood and would possibly take/buy your ticket if you don’t want it!

Edit: I am very happy to report that I was wrong! Show rescheduled for 8/20. Great news!
Openers will all be canceled, but they’ll make Jimmy play anyways. I’m guessing they go on at 9:30pm and still play most of their set.
(I have no inside info, I am just a regular fan, and this is my opinion.)
Alright, so now we know the setlist, and it’s exactly like I expected. A few songs to open and get us all warmed up, then Bleed American in full, with a 4-5 song encore. Which lines up perfectly for….
A giant, awesome, friendly, dancey, mosh pit. I’m talking jumping up and down, singing at the top of your lungs with a bunch of strangers type of pit.
I know we’re old, I know our knees hurt, and I know we’re tired. But when Bleed American starts, we have to go NUTS. You go nuts for 3 songs, get a break for Your House to catch your breath, and then we all sing Sweetness at the top of our lungs. That’s it, just 4 songs that I need you for. They didn’t write these songs for you to be standing in the back, looking around. They wrote them so you could stand right in the middle of the crowd, on your feet, good to go. (Sorry, I had to.)
To be clear, I will not start a mosh pit that no one wants. I will not be the jerk that pushes people and tries to force people into a pit. I completely respect anyone that doesn’t want to be in a pit, and you have every right to enjoy the show however you want! I’m just looking for those that DO want to go nuts, so we can do it together!
I’ll be at the Chicago show, weather pending. Join me in the the pit there, or start one at your own show, and let’s make this tour feel like it’s 2001 again!!!
(And to anyone scared of mosh pits, a better word for them at shows like this would be dance floor. That’s really all it is. It’s not violent, it’s not dangerous, this isn’t a hardcore show. Check this post and the comments and you’ll see it was a VIBE in MKE last time. It’s a dance floor, plain and simple!)
