[Free Event in Tokyo] Experience Balinese "Kecak" with Geinoh Yamashirogumi (AKIRA Soundtrack) / 映画「AKIRA」の芸能山城組 ケチャ無料体験会
Hello Reddit! I'm a member of Geinoh Yamashirogumi, the collective best known for the soundtrack of the anime film *AKIRA*.
We are hosting hands-on workshops for Balinese "Kecak" in Higashi-Nakano, Tokyo, and we’d love for you to join us!
Kecak is a male choral drama performed entirely without a conductor or sheet music. For 45 minutes, a circle of men creates a massive, high-density 100-person polyrhythm using only their voices and bodies. It strictly tests your ability to feel the beat and synchronize with others, making it incredibly fun—especially if you have a background in music or choir!
Never tried it? No problem! Beginners of all ages are highly welcome.

東中野にて、バリの男声合唱劇「ケチャ」の無料体験会を開催します。
ケチャは、指揮なし・楽譜なしで45分間、男達がリズムと声だけで演じる「超高密度なリズム合唱」です。拍を感じ続ける力や周囲と同期する感覚がシビアに問われるので、音楽・合唱経験者ほど面白いと思います😄
年齢や経験は一切不問です！いよいよ明日の5/17（日）からスタートしますので、ぜひお気軽にご参加ください。
【費用について】
体験会の参加は完全無料です。もし体験してみて「面白い！本番のステージにも出てみたい！」となり、正式に組員として活動を継続される場合には、衣装代などの実費が別途かかります。まずは体験会で楽しさを知っていただければ嬉しいです！
