I'm a little new to laser engraving and cutting. I'm looking for advice (if any) if anyone knows how to get rid of the "burnt" edges of the leather after cutting out so I can burnish the sides. usually when cutting the leather, it'll leave the edges with that kind of burnt crispy edge that while yes, it's a clean-cut edge, isn't the most pleasant and can't be burnished smooth. I haven't tried sanding the edge yet but I'm hoping it's just that simple.
