I just received my denial letter for the MSW online program for Fall. With 8 years of experience in the field and a 4.0 in my current graduate program I figured I would definitely get in. Could it be that I submitted my application on the day of the deadline and they just ran out of spots? Deadline was two weeks ago so to get an answer so fast makes me wonder if the denial is more based on seats unavailable. Anybody care to give some insight and should I try to apply again for Spring?

For the MSW online program. The mandatory on campus intensive weekend. Does it occur during football season and if so do students get in for free? Can anyone describe the experience like what to expect?

Just turned in my application for the FSU MSW online program. I'm a bit nervous and wish I could get an answer soon, but I know it won't be until next month. I'm trying to transfer; I'm currently getting my MSW at another school. My undergrad GPA was low, so I had to write a letter to the committee.I have a 4.0 currently but that's from one class. I also have 8 years of experience. Should I be worried that I may not get in? It's a serious question because, I know that a 4.0 is good, but that's just one class. I'm afraid that the committee won't be that impressed. Hopefully, my resume will help me with my experience.
