Porsche enthusiasts - help needed!
Hi! Have been a fan of Porsche and looking to buy my first one. Budget can be around $250-280k, depre of less than $30k preferred.
I recently came across a 997.1 turbo that fits my requirements, but am aware that the car is around 20 years old.
Have no issues with driving an older car - went for a viewing and the car seems fine and expect to do a ppi. However, am not sure if the car’s value will be retained if I want to sell in a few years time.
Google search is saying that 997 turbos are great machines and value is expected to increase, but not sure if it’s the same for SG market.
Appreciate views from the Porsche community - if I should pull the trigger on the purchase, as kind of fell in love with the car when I saw it and tested the other day. Or if I should consider other alternatives!
