Got into my first choice 3k , Now what?
Hi, I’m so happy and relieved my daughter got into ps 116 but I’m having a little trouble figuring out my afterschool situation with her.
This summer and fall I will be attending a college summer program and just starting my first semester and classes . My schedule is as follows
Summer program
M-T 7:30am to 6pm , F 9:00 am to 6pm
Fall semester
M and W 9:00 am to 6pm
T and TH 9:00 am to 1pm
F - no classes
If my daughter goes to after school are there services that just do morning drop off and then pick up? The after school program I’m thinking of attending doesn’t do pickup so I will have to get someone to pick her up and send her to afterschool . Is hiring someone to drop off , then pick up again and drop off then pick up reasonable? I have no problem hiring a nanny but my sister lives with me with her child temporarily until she finds a place to stay so if I hire one how is she going to be at my place it’s way too crowded at the moment?
Any one else who been through this do you have any suggestions? I’m really struggling to figure it all out. Thank you so much !
