In the summer house my family owns From the ages of 2-7ish I had a reoccurring experience where I would wake up to a larger older women in her 60s in a pokadot style dress and bottle nosed glasses watching over me silently. Never really anything particularly dangerous, just watching me in a sort of protective motherly sort of way you know? I never got the impression she was going to hurt me in any capacity, just that she was watching over to me to see if I was okay.

My mum had walked in during one of these moments and saw the exact same thing I remembered seeing. She was understandably freaked out and went to speak with the lady who next door about it who had lived in the area basically her whole life and she told my mother that years before we had moved in a nanny matching the description of the women we saw had killed herself in the house. To this day I still believe it is the same women and it’s one of the moments that promoted me to believe in ghosts, along with a number of other experiences from that house.
